Hello, Hopefully attached is a picture of a well used knife being offered to me as a re-badged HJ knife. Seller tells me that this knife was made during the war, but after the war, changed alligence, and was issued with a scouting emblem. It is marked with "ARMESO" (which is underlined) and Solingen. There appear to be no numbers. Can anyone help me identify whether this is in fact what they are saying?

Hi,Althouth they look similar, this is not a HJ Knife . It is a Post war scout knife which is smaller than a HJ knife , and is made with a fleur de lyse (not sure if spelled correctley) symbol set into the grip instead of the usual HJ diamond. You can normally pic these items up on ebay quite cheaply , say £20 to £40. There is one on ebay at the moment.(link below) If the seller is trying to pass it off as a re badged HJ , stay well clear, it is not. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GERMAN-SHEATH-KNIFE-YOUTH-CORP-DA...QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

If you are looking to purchase a HJ Knife , try DD Harris. His advert is on the advertising page, DD's daggers . He has lots of HJ's at different prices , and is a great person to deal with. Thanks
