I am hopefully attaching a few pics of my deceased father-in-law's hand made aluminum B-24 Liberator and winged Mighty 8th logo. The only parts that he didn't fabricate were the tiny propellers purchased from a British model airplane shop near his base. He was a talented gunsmith later in life, but I treasure this piece more than the rifles that he made me over the years. I've never seen another piece quite like this one.

Oh, and I KNOW that B-24's didn't fly outta Laredo, Texas, but it was the only AAF backdrop that I could find
