I know this list is rather short, but I want to know if there are any other makers out there or other variations in makers mark other than the ones listed.

Police Bayonet Maker List:

Alcoso
Carl Julius Krebs
Clemen & Jung
Eickhorn (35-41 TM, double oval TM)
Ewald Cleff
Horster ("E&F Horster Solingen" and double oval)
Paul Weyersberg (Paweco)
P.D. Luneschloss

Thanks for the input. Looks like the scope of my collecting is expanding rapidly Wink. Then of course theres the slotted variations for each. Any pics of the rarer examples (E.Pack, Holler, Seilheimer, Puma and Holler) would be great.

Alcoso
Carl Julius Krebs
Clemen & Jung
E. Pack
Eickhorn (35-41 TM, double oval TM)
Ewald Cleff
Holler
Horster ("E&F Horster Solingen" and double oval)
Paul Weyersberg (Paweco)
P.D. Luneschloss
Paul Seilheimer
Puma
WKC

Houston perhaps you would know if each of these makers produced both the regular and slotted versions of police bayonets??

Fitz,

Here's a slotted Höller with 3R production aluminum hilt that I picked up some years ago. Been there but with a great blade.

Are we including distributor marks as well? How about earlier production pieces that were reutilized in the NS zeit, like PSS pieces?

This is a Paweco from Eban. I've seen Weyersberg logos as well as the occasional Paweco which I believe is a trade name for Paul Weyersberg.

PSS maker marked by Gebruder Hartkopf. In cluding pieces like the PSS really opens up the maker mark category, there's a bunch of marks that I don't believe made it to 3R police blades.

Fitzer,

Since the PSS are all reworked Imperial S98/05 bayonets, any maker (or dual combination) of the S98/05 could be found on the PSS. None of these makers actually made the PSS.

Thanks for the info Orpo

The PSS is a pretty rare piece, so a listing of makers shouldn't be too extensive. By PSS maker marks I mean the makers found on PSS blades regardless if they actually made the PSS or not.

Cheers

Fitzer,

More extensive marking variations than you would think. There were over 40 maker marking combinations of the S98/05, assuming you eliminate the sawbacks. Some combinations with two makers/distributors markings change the order with different secondary markings such as Henckels with Frister & Rossmann or Anker Werke markings or Frister & Rossman with Henckels or Anker Werke with Henckels for instance.

Fitzer,
Not sure if you want to widen your Polizei catagory any further, but here are a few more types.
First, this long bladed KS98 police type that is also occasionally seen with the Nazi police grip eagle. This particular one is Paweco.
