Just thought I'd share a cool tool with everyone. I recently had the need to pull everything of value off of a friends 320 GB hard drive to reformat the drive for a fresh install. I came across this adapter that can be attached to an IDE or SATA hard drive, then attaches to another computer via a USB cable. Pretty nifty. In the past I have simply slaved the hard drive in another computer, but this is much handier as you don't have to take another computer apart. I got mine from Amazon, but they are available everywhere. Example
