This might be a dumb question, but on ground rohm daggers, do they fit noticably looser in the scabbard than a unground or non-rohm dagger. I'm mean on the factory ground one where most evrything is removed. Just wondering if they did anything to make it a nice fit like early SA daggers usually are?

The only help I can give you is that the fit of my SS Ground Rohm in the scabbard is just perfect. Nice and snug. Of course, mine was not factory ground and a bit of the inscription remains. My guess is the factory would have ground them down more. Someone with a factory ground Rohm will likely chime in with some helpful info for you.

From my experience, one can't see any difference.

No problem with any of my 7 Ground Röhms, their fit is as good as any standard SA.
If you know how the runners work, you will understand that removing an inscription from the blade cannot effect the fit. Just remove a set of runners from a scabbard of an SA and you will understand why.
Best greetings,
