Just got these great looking black leather Police marked Officer's boots .

They are 17-inches tall . The upper area has a soft brown leather interior liner and cloth and leather pull straps.

One boot has this interior ink cancel and date.

There is a soft and flexible leather area at the ankles. ----And I almost missed this in the inside and next to the ink marking , a faint silver dish like maker mark with :"Po/1939/L" and "*3" and "43 B477 B21". From this I assume the boots were actual manufactured in 1939 .

The soles have this great looking wood pegs work and the letters " 43 A 5477 " and the hard rubber heels have " 166 Cordial '--AND BOTH SHOW NO WEAR AT ALL ! Also , a paper tag on a string fastened to one of the pulls , has a black inked "43" for size .

BERND.... What Superb Quality of both Construction and Preservation(!) Congratulations.
These must have carefully stored away - and never issued / purchased or used. They are almost too nice for a mannequin - They need to be displayed on their own! Txs for sharing..... Dave/dblmed
