I`m a complete novice, and I need some help to tell if this HJ-knife is a real one or just fake.

If it is a fake, how can you tell? Greatful for "education".

The knife:

By the way, 3000 swedish chrowns (wich is the sarting price) is about 383 usd.
3500 (the "buy now-price") is about 447 usd.

What do you think would be a reasonable price for the knife?

Knife does have a nice complete blade. This is a tad high for an RZM piece, but I guess it is up to how much you want it! Good luck! Wink Kevin.

So you could say that the usual price for a knife in this shape is about 250USD? Is that right?
Unfortunately, they are rare in sweden. Think Im gonna bid....

Good thing i didnt bid on it. It never got sold on that site, so I got the seller to sell it to me for about 300usd. Still a little expensive, maybe, but as I said, the not easily found around here, and it`s 83$ below the original starting price.

This is a more desireable piece than most m7/13's. If I interpret the picture correctly this is one of the knives that the maker mark is off center to the right rather than in the direct center. You see this every so often and for variation collectors its more collectable than the "standard" m7/13 because its just a little different but totally factory. You see this on m7/13s about 1 or 2 % of the time. Russ

Looks like you did good on this one as it looks in really nice condition and as Russ said a little more desireable with the off center mark. Congrats! Cool

Thank you Smile

Received it a few days ago, and it really is pretty nice. Fine scabbard too. And yes, the RZM mark is placed to the right of the center.
