Here are some new purchases of mine, boy I love these Haenels the quaility is unmatch in my opinion. The Ehr. Reich is nice but its not a Haenal.

The Grip on this Ehr. Reich is without a doubt one of the most beautiful woods I've seen used.

I can't believe that Haenel just sat on Bill Rannows site. The blade is almost spotless, though my picture quility don't convey that.

Very nice acquisitions Adam. And I certainly agree with you about the Haenel. Their etch is unsurpassed in my book. Congradulations! Jim

It almost looks like Mahogany which I think in the description mentioned Mahogany as the wood used for the grip , But the picture quility suck I had to resize it some much so it I bet is hard to tell on your end.

I will have to resist soon because I will be working in the U.P. of Mich. No internet where I'll be staying . But maybe I can put ads up around there, Sure there's not many Militaria buyers up there in the Boondocks. Maybe I'll get lucky But I will still miss the internet and GDC thats my biggest addiction.

Beauty daggers! What's the rarity scale for Ehr. Reich? Haenel aside the guns and edged weapon did make also very good bicycles!

Adam... they're starting to look even better with the more pictures you take! Maybe you should become a "dagger model photographer"?

Nice daggers Adam! If you want to take photos like JR you need to put together a light box. I'm pretty sure that's what he does although I have not asked him. It's cheap and easy to do but I've been too lazy myself. The other alternative is to shoot outside in daylight on an overcast day. NEVER use a flash indoors or out. I can see that your photos do not do your daggers justice. They are fine pieces that would really look good in the right lighting.

What is a flash box and how could it be made? Is it like the umbrallas that photographers use when you get your picture taken.

It's called a light box. Same principle as a photographers umbrella. Do a Google search for a ton of info. Here is a site that shows how to build your own: http://www.pbase.com/wlhuber/light_box_light_tent

Still get glare, I made a quick Flashbox out of a foot stool but served the same purpose as the one you showed directions for, but I think I need more lights still but also more filter too, to cut down on glare?

RRRRRRRRR they still look Sh itty, They look bright in some spots and dark like up by the handles. Maybe the red makes there to much and takes from the daggers?
