Hey!! good question! Big Grin

Well, a few years ago I had enough material for a small photo book. Not much on information.. I felt that would be a dis-service to the collectors just showing photos of 'good' rings and nothing else..
Everything came to a stop. I thought the whole thing over and completely scrapped the idea.. Then 2 years ago I came up with what I'm working on now. 100's of rings from all over the world! Chapters on originals, reproductions/postwar, materials and construction methods, campaign/field made's, and also period advertisements and period photos of the rings in wear, and a 'Specials' chapter..I also added a 'Collections' small chapter featuring collections from around the world. Collections with as little as 3 and as large as 500..

I've received a few emails stating that Craig put together a Honor ring book in 2,,3 years what's my hold up?! Not to take away from Craig's book ,[which I firmly believe is needed] but almost all the info is already out there! What was needed was some more details and super photos,,and I'm sure we'll all be seeing it all soon enough..
Myself,,I'm writing a little about each ring. If its a RAD ring I'm giving a brief history along with the photos of the ring. So as to where Craig is writing about ONE ring I'm doing it with over 100 rings! Photos, histories, and how their made... check out our 'Westwall ring' topic we have here.. There are many more examples/patterns,,probably twice what we show. I'll have most of them. That pattern ring could be a book onto itself! Same with skull rings. I have PAGES and PAGES of them and information..

So yes its taking time. But I feel it will be worth the money you guys are going to spend on it. Reference books aren't cheap anymore. Most start at $75. now and go way up from there. I want you guys to get your monies worth! If I could do it full time it'd be done soon. But I can not. I have my family obligations,, and my work,,there's also writers block and just not being in the mood to write just because there is the time..
I am hoping to have it done this year. When it goes to the publisher believe me I'll let you guys know and you all can write him and get him to get the move on! Thanks for the interest..,G.
