HI EVERYONE THERE IS A SS DOLCE ON HELMUT WEITZE SITE #91267 WITH RZM 1196/28 IM BEGINNING A COLLECTION OF GUSTAV SPITZER AND I NEED A SS WHICH IS 1197, SO IS THE RZM 1196 A FAKE ITS NOT ON THE RZM LIST ON THIS FORUM THANKS

1196 is on the RZM list but it is an unknown maker at this stage.

Mr. Tank,
If it is 1196/28 it is a fake. If you mis-read it and it is a 1196/38 as illustrated below, then it is real.
Also, I am aware of RZMs 1196 and 1198, but I am not aware of a makers mark with just "RZM 1197".

PS there does exist a mark that is M7/80 with, underneath RZM 1197 / 38 SS (with the SS in runic version)
