I just can't seem to find this one in any of my books. It is a very nice early one, made by Deschler, the twin towers are the church in Munich. Any one have any ideas? Thanks~!

Jerry, That is one of interest. Winged railway wheel not sure what the feather denotes. Whatever it was it happened or was comemorated on June 2-3 1934.
Thanks for showing it and I hope some one has more on it. Will ask around.

Thanks Guys, I'll keep digging around too. I went through my Tieste's and my Manion/Fox Hole tinnie books and didn't see it, I thought I was crazy. It's very well made (for a tinnie) It came in with a few other interesting ones I'll post those too. We joked it was for the last train of accountants getting the heck out of Munich in '34...

Interesting side note - the pin plate is exactly the same as used by Deschler on the Gold Party Badge.

Since the quill is not cut to shape a nib, perhaps it alludes to the ride being feather soft?

Or this literature club took a ride to Munich in 1934? There was a survey of German literature being conducted in 1934. I don't think it has anything to do with the banning and burning of books.. Thoughts?
