Deutsche Reichspost Armband Real or Fake?
I just got this Reichspost Armband, which does not glow under black light, and the symbol is stamped. Could this be real? Since it is stamped does this mean it is late war? Any idea on the value? Thank you very much for your input! JME

The only printed example I could find is in an old collectors guide from 1968.
Its a small photo in B&W.. Descrciption only says - 'Black on Light Green'.. Letter fonts are a good match but the eagle is slightly different. Is it my Monitor or is yours a teal color rather then the green?
I guess you could do a quick test and check the thread of the hem and from band itself to see if they're synthetic. The letters/emblem look correctly inked 'in' instead of 'on' as on the fakes. A scarce piece..Hopefully you'll find another to make a comparison with!
