Hello, compared to my other SS Daggers, the Motto on this blade is different. Also the width of the blade by the crossguard is a bit smaller. Thanks for the help

The thing I dont like about this blade, is the looks of the crossgrain.
That appears to have been done with something similar to sand-paper..

Just my opinion Wink

The measurement of the blade by the crossguard is 32cm.

There is not enough left of that trademark to say what it once was.

Vesuvio

The motto style is a known period style, frequntly seen on period M36 blades and also late E-Packs, several makers used this pattern.

Yours however seems to present a few problems; the blade measure at the crossguard should be 34mm, 32mm is frequently seen on Repros. The motto position is too low on the blade, again the repros tend to have the motto centred on the blade, period examples are usually closer to the crossguard. I would also not expect to see excessive grinding to the tang on a Rohm. Its possible it may be an Eickhorn Reddick Rohm which had the maker mark positioned too far from the crossguard, the gringing has removed all the evidence though Wink
