How true this maker is not often seen - heres a close-up of the grip/scabbard throat showing both the very nice ebony grip and the close fit.

The obverse of the blade give the appearance of having been tuned up a bit by darkening the motto and having been cleaned with perhaps steel wool. Maybe it's just the photos.

Just the photos, had a hard time getting the right angle to keep the glare away - no clean up here , left it the way it came from the Vet,s garage with lots of grime and patina.
