Hard to tell, without holding them. I like the second pair more, even though they are a lot rarer.
Don't like the poor attachment of the skulls on the first pair (the right hand one is not straight), and I'm never a fan of these when part of the piping is so much thicker because of the join. That is just poor quality tailoring, and the Germans were usually better than that. I have seen examples of this effect that collectors are certain have ironclad provenance, but they are in the minority.

I agree with Dave, I do not like the first set at all! The second I am still not convinced. Definately need some better pictures, and I do not like the shape of them. Steve
