Have any of you who upgraded to IE 7 run into PSAPI.DLL and smartbridge problems? Specifically relating to error messages upon startup? If so, I was able to correct it by slightly changing the nmes of the PSAPI.DLL to somehting different. However, DO NOT change the system.32 PSAPI.DLL's or you'll have problems. Others say to dump smartbridge. At anyrate, this solution seems to work.

Just FYI

Oy, when various software companies develop their software, they occasionally - for whatever reason - include their own version of the PSAPI DLL, which invariably is different from the DLL included with Win2K and WinXP. If you search for and locate the offending version of the file (typically located in the directory that houses your other apps), you can rename it to something like PSAPI_OLD.DLL and then copy the original DLL from the SYSTEM32 folder and drop it into the location of the PSAPI_OLD.DLL. I haven't the foggiest idea why these folks include their own version of this DLL.
