i could be off bace but i would think it has somthing to do with the Boy Scouts

Hello Adam,I first thought it was a 1960's Peace Movement pin,what with the "V" and all----just kidding,but it could be part of the Youth hostel movement in around the 1920's or 30's--Albert Speer was heavy into this--See "Inside The Third Reich"--just a thought anyway.Hugh.

With the blue background and the two fingers, I would guess very early US Cub Scout pin. Looks like their shade of blue too. Remember the Cub Scouts go all the way back to 1930.

The hand in that pin used to be (or may still be) the cutomary symbol in Germany for taking an oath, mainly in court before delivering a sworn testimony.

I believe the symbol for Boy scouts involved three fingers to simulate the image of a lilly.

But raising the middle finger alone is a less ceremonial expression and means something else. Wink
