Also--I have never seen a gold one of this model that I thought was original. There are some other models of the Eickhorn that are gold and original. Download my FREE guide. Here are a couple of textbook originals. The one on the left was discontinued in about 1936 and may bear stamped TM,s from 1933-34 and the 35-41. It also comes in a rare short model( I have only seen one-I sold it to Gary) Also the correct knot for these is the all green bayonet type with the round green ball. The one on Ebay has a subordinate Forestry knot with flat green knot.

Whats wrong with the one on the right , it's the rare Imperial shooting association dagger from the 3rd Reich .It was actually sold to me as an Imperial forestry hirschfnger with the Kaisers official seal on the clamshell. I had to buy it because it's so rare . Gary
