I wasn't sure exactly where to post this but I thought you'd enjoy seeing armbands in the process of manufacture. This must have been one of the last steps before they were cut into individual bands and hemmed:

These don't look like armbands to me. They typically were produced in multiple pieces which were put together.
This looks like it was printed as one...is it period?
It could be some type of period display or propaganda material.

You could be right. These are the right size for armbands however; I am open to suggestions and appreciate your opinion.

There were also printed one piece armbands, I assume for the 'lesser' party members that didn't require a nice one for wear; butchers, street sweepers, factory workers, etc. that might have wanted one for 'parade day' but didn't need a 4 piece wool one.

Ive had these unsewn and printed as well, and believe they are in fact armbands as the one's I had consisted of 3 in a row and 2 cut. Thin linen with printed swaztica.

My money is on uncut mini flags for parade routes.
