Here it goes. One of my aluminum ones (although there goes nothing over an early heavily patinated one IMO). An EICKHORN. Please note the original very bright gilding of the swaz. And, what hardly can be noticed in these scans is the fact that the hanger (originally) has BLUE stitching. On most of the LW swords this color has fainted to a somehow dirty white.

4 I am sory that the makersmark does not show up better in the scan. It is the 39-41 mm.

WOW some very nice examples - I have seen a few for sale here and there but since I do not know much about them I wanted to see some nice examples.
Are there specific markers that would be considered best of class for sword quality and are there any interesting varations that are rare to find?
