I know these are not uniform items ,--but I wanted to share these 3 award documents to Polizei Oberwachtmeister Friedrich Reese with you that I just got . First the award document for the 1.OCT.1938 Medal , dated 4 April 1940 and signed by Theissner and his embossed office seal.All documents are the large 12 by 8-inches size and are on heavy stock paper.

The second award document is for the Social Welfare Medal, dated 8 Februar 1941 ,this time with a Hitler and a smaller Theissner signature ,-- but with the large embossed police eagle this time . I think it is very uncommen for a policeman to get the Social Welfare Medal. Does anyone else have this document to a policeman --or have it on a ribbon bar ?

Yes -it is Blomberg , a small town of 14,600 in Nordrhein-Westfallen near Paderborn and Detmold.
