I think they add a little extra among with the arm-eagles in the frames. BTW the daggers are Heer by WKC, Kriegsmarine by WKC, Luftwaffe by E.O Hörster and last but not least SA by Bismarck. The basement "Tirpitz" rests on is actually made of teak from the deck of the ship.(I live only 5 km from the wrecksite) The crest abowe the models was given to a Tirpitz veteran at a vets reunioun in 1974 in Dortmund. display.JPG (54.87 KB, 549 downloads) Regards Trond.

Since I'm no longer a medal kind of guy, I'd rather spend my money on SA items, daggers and various cloth items. I've been looking for a Nice SA pennant for a long time and when I finally found one I had to make me a "pole" for it. During wintertime in northern Norway the sun goes below the horizon and doesn't show up again untill late january. These pics were taken from my collector's room window today at 1300 hours. I,ve been collecting - back and forth, for about 5 years now. Always buying and selling stuff from /to my collection. I find it very hard to concentrate on only one niche, and is constantly changing my mind - and my collection. As you can see from my latest pic here, Otto has been "upgraded" with some new nice items; collar patches, shoulder boards, belt/buckle, k98 bayonet and ammo pouches - all originals of course.
