Thanks guys, these are copies of prints that I've found on the internet.
I think they add a little extra among with the arm-eagles in the frames. Smile

BTW the daggers are Heer by WKC, Kriegsmarine by WKC, Luftwaffe by E.O Hörster and last but not least SA by Bismarck. Big Grin

Here's a model of "Tirpitz" and "U99".
The basement "Tirpitz" rests on is actually made of teak from the deck of the ship.(I live only 5 km from the wrecksite) The crest abowe the models was given to a Tirpitz veteran at a vets reunioun in 1974 in Dortmund.

(Makes me feel like I'm "there".) The dioramas are "Top Shelf" magnificent. I'm reading, "JG 26", "Top Guns of the Luftwaffe". Nice of you taking the time to post them.

Some of the badges in the previous posts are just copies, but they make great space-fillers.
Since I'm no longer a medal kind of guy, I'd rather spend my money on SA items, daggers and various cloth items.

I've been looking for a Nice SA pennant for a long time and when I finally found one I had to make me a "pole" for it. I know the police-eagle aint the best poletop, but it was my only fake eagle so......

Yes I did, but I've recently sold the model of "Tirpitz" to a fellow collector who's planing a special "Tirpitz"-department in his museum.

Maybe I make a new one some day. Wink

Here's some more "display" for you, but this is mother earths own.

During wintertime in northern Norway the sun goes below the horizon and doesn't show up again untill late january.

These pics were taken from my collector's room window today at 1300 hours.

Enjoy. Smile

Very nice display Bismarck . . . I am always fascinated by the creativity so many show in the various ways they display their collections! I am always learning . . . ~ Ian

Thanks, glad you like it. Smile

I've had to sell quite a few items lately so my collection aint as great as it used to be. But hey, gotta make the best of whats left of it.

Hopefully there will come better days for all of us.

Greetings.

Lately I've gaining more and more interest towards Luftwaffe and that have resulted in a few new purchases.

First one out was this beautiful LW NCO visor cap.

I will throw out only one pic of this since there allready exists a whole thread regarding it: http://daggers.infopop.cc/eve/...30925403/m/654104742

Thanks, this is also my "office".

I,ve been collecting - back and forth, for about 5 years now. Always buying and selling stuff from /to my collection.

I find it very hard to concentrate on only one niche, and is constantly changing my mind - and my collection. Frown

As you can see from my latest pic here, Otto has been "upgraded" with some new nice items; collar patches, shoulder boards, belt/buckle, k98 bayonet and ammo pouches - all originals of course.

Guess I'll just need a nice k98 rifle now and he will look like his on guard here. Smile(too bad I sold the one I had, just recently)

New room, new K98 and some other stuff.

The eagle on the wall is an original wartime, handcarved eagle. Probably made by a soldier with too much spare time on his hands. Big Grin

PS: All the wooden medal-holders are made from teak from the deck of the Tirpitz.
