Maybe the name Bernd is a bad one? I traded a very nice Eickhorn SA ground rohm to a guy in Germany named Bernd Chudy for a Teno Jr. I had no problem sending him the dagger and it wasn't even taped up. The bad thing is the teno ended up being a repo and when I let him know about it all he had to say was"We traded and that is that!

I am indeed very sorry to hear of your experience. This kind of thing seems to be happening all the time. I don`t think there are too many of us that have not been burned at one time or another. I had exactly the same problem with a real scumbag in Holland last year who`s only comment was "sue me". I am afraid that there is little that one can do. I have become very circumspect now & only deal with traders that are reputable or whom I feel that I am able to trust through membership of this forum. It cost more but it`s peace of mind insurance, the opportunity for a bargain can soon be vastly outweighed by a loss.
War is when your government tells you who the enemy is. Revolution is when you figure it out for yourself.
