Hello friends,
I am looking for an advice for a book about the SA, especially the types of uniforms Ranks ect. Is there a good one out ?
Any help appreciated.

the book that i would recommend is long out of print,,"THE SA:A HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE"..BY JILL HALCOMB,,PUB. 1985,BY CROWN/AGINCOURT PUBLISHERS,,,there are even earlier works,Rudolf Kahls volume II,Uniforms and Badges of the Third Reich:SA-NSKK-SS,,,all line drawings of insignia and uniforms,Published by Military Collectors Service,Holland,,no date of publication but i believe very early 1970's..also COLLECTORS GUIDE TO STURMABTEILUNG INSIGNIA BY DAVID FULLER,1985,published by Matthaus Publishers in Dallas Texas,,and the last one that i am aware of is Osprey's Men-At-Arms series,The SA 1921-45:Hitler's Stormtroopers by David Littlejohn,,nice color plates,,,i have a spare copy if you want it,,,best regards,,,Robert
