hi Lou.. the last one(veterans shooting award) is usually found without the backing and can be seen in period pics being worn on sashes and sleeves.It should be highly vaulted(hollowback..) and about 50% in my experience are maker marked.. www.kurskmilitaria.com

Hi Lou,
That's a very nice trio you've found, I'm glad to see you're keeping busy!
As Gary just mentioned on the Deco shooting thread, I don't think anyone can go wrong with these shooting pieces that's in good condition. In my opinion the only ones that do get faked so far are the TR pieces like the one above and the similarly-mounted, gilded, imperial shooting arm badges. I hope one of the boys will be able to determine from the photo if your's is the real McCoy or not..?
