Speaking from experience, anything obtained from Ludwig Baer will be good. BTW, is that a tortoise (or turtle) I see on the floor? Does he like helmets too? Big Grin

Cheers,

Since the box is from Heer Baer, whatever is inside is doubtless a great helmet.

What I am REALLY waiting to see is one of these threads where, upon opening the box, the contents are revealed to one and all as a high-end repro.

Just kidding, but these things just drive me crazy with the anticipation of seeing what some other lucky guy has added to his collection.
Cheers,
Mike

Anders,

I notice that you didn't mention that it wasn't a Luftwaffe helmet. Is it a Luft??

Cheers,

2-0 to Darryl.
It is the kids turtle Kim that is trying to help
and it is a luftwaffe helmet.(Not that exotic)

Sold my other M35 DD early LW 2 weeks ago, thanks A.B.

Its a M35 DD LW with the early "bentleg" eagle.
The decals are really nice, maker: SE68.
The helmet is very well marked and stamped on the chinstrap, dome, inside liner.

WOW !!! Eek Can't say I've ever seen a helmet as copiously marked, or with such an unusual domestamp. Fantastic.

Nice catch.

Hi Anders!
Super lid which would be a very nice addition to any collection. Yours has to be one of the ultimate examples with all of the markings it has!
Best Wishes,
Bob

Hello Anders,

Nice unitmarkings and stamps on this very nice early LW-helmet.
Great collecting-piece.

How nice many LW helmets are blessed with unitstamps/-markings.

Itīs the Sturzkampfgeschwader 167, formed in 1937, had this name only one year!! Located in Lübeck-Blankenese (see chinstrap Fliegerhorstkommandantur Lübeck-Bl.).

Fantastic helmet; congrats.

Cheers
