Inherited from my grandfather who was in WWII, I have a dagger with scabbord. Assuming it is Navy, has an anchor on the brass part of the handle. Etched with F.W. Holler Solingen on blade in an oval and looks like a thermometer in center. The handle is orange and has a thread around it and the blade has anchors on it.
Any information anyone can give me would be very helpful. I am not looking to sell, just find out more about it.

Welcome to the site, click on "find" and go to search "Navy Daggers" you will find alot of info. A couple of photos would help as we all like to see the family items
