This pin is quite different than others I have seen. The eagle is zinc and the wing spread is 3-3/4". It has a pin and a tab on the reverse. Is this a hat pin or a tunic insignia? Who would have worn this type of pin? Thanks for your assistance in identifying this pin. R.W.

LOOKS LIKE AN ARMY summer breast eagle but with condtion and suface loss if could have been a gilt KM eagle.

What does the back look like? If it has a long pin, I agree with Paul. If it has 2 or 3 pins I'd say Kriegsmarine pith helmet.
