Here is a nice little find that came in today, this coat is from the same hoard as the panzer jackets. I thought this one had gone until it turned up on ebay.
It is a very nice impregnated rain coat dated 1938 in almost mint condition, with some slight soiling from storage, the inside is totally unworn. All I need now is a set of shoulderboards and some screw post to fix them with.
If anyone needs any further detailed pictures then I will post.

Gary, A very nice catch. These raincoats are scarce as hens teeth. I am sure these coats were usually worn completely out during and after the war. Kind of like trying to find the police issue sweaters and shirts that never make it to the marketplace. I am glad you were able to find that one again. George

Thanks George I am happy to find it again also, was not much of a fight for it on ebay, I guess a lot of people thought it was a wrong one. I am glad I got a chance to see it in person before it turned up again or I might have given it a miss as well.
