Michael,
As it has been stated before, red solid diamonds are not a give-away anymore, because there was a consideration that they could appear in late examples if they ran out of the "common" ones., but this one its certainly not a late example, so in this case, i consider it as a red flag too. The grip seems like the ones find in fakes, i just dont like it, and it reminds me of common fakes around there.
The blade seems to be misplaced and its not in its greatest fit.
Could you take a photo another photo of the observe grip with more light? and also of the reverse grip?
Maybe it was also just the photo but i didnt like the motto either.

I would like to know what the rest of the guys think. Dont take my opinion as a definite thing. I may be wrong.

My friend Santiago is spot on, grips look very plastic, bad fit on what appears to be a very post war appearence hilt. the diamond is very suspect and the blade looks well very odd, certainly nothing to suggest any good parts there iam afraid Frown

The diamond is not original, the second rivet (near pommel) is also not good and the grip looks plastic (as stated already).

Even if some original parts might be used on this one, this is not an HJ to pay any money for.

Best greetings,

Herman
