Gentlemen,
I would be very grateful if the members here would keep an eye out on internet auction sites & dealers etc for the badge below.
It was lost while in the post between Germany & England. The envelope arrived but the seam of the envelope had split & the badge could have dropped out of the hole. It could also have been deliberately split & the contents stolen.....
The badge is a 1943 Tyrol Meisterschütze, with the serial number 132 on the reverse.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers Don

Quite a piece of work, and easily identifiable.
Sorry about your misfortune, maybe it will turn up.

Oh, I would not suggest you get your hopes up, thats for sure. Your chances are remote, but still possible. It would probably take a week or 2 to make it on any dealer sites, auction could happen anytime. I would google up "Meisterschutze 1943" on a regular basis for a couple weeks, and see what comes up. This was one of the first results hereSeems not possible to find any details about this one without signing up for membership.

Did the 132 badge ever pop up anywhere?

It's been some time now. Did it ever show up? Has anybody noted it?

I still keep an eye out for it & check the numbers for any I see offered for sale, but no luck so far.
Looks like another badge has been lost just this week, this time coming from the USA..... First time in over 25 years that I've lost an item coming from the US.
