Yes, an upside-down '800'....BTW Gaspare (or anyone.), was there originally a word on the white diagonal section of the ring at left? There was a ring like it on German eBay a while back. It was slightly less worn, and seemed like there was some partial letters there.

Kris , don't know about the ones shown here...But they have been reproducing a 'gold for iron' ring and an iron cross with oaks on the side..,G.

I picked up a couple of tiny enamel sweetheart rings very reasonably priced. The smaller one at right has better detail to the crown and date sections, which the one at left just uses straight lines to represent.

here are 2 examples of WW1 rings. Many thought this design was false, that is made post WW2.
What ever the band pattern the cartouche was a WW1 Iron Cross on neck ribbon. Some plain, some with dates. All a thin enamel [neillo].

while not a ring an interesting 'charm'..
Sometimes the items are not as nice as the line drawings that depict them [mid left.
In this case the actual piece is every bit as good!

pzb14 , WOW! , that's pretty good for not collecting WW 1 rings. . One better than the next! Fine addition to this topic,,thanks so much for showing us! Come on guys everyone has a WW1 ring or 2 to show,,get it up here.. * All right,,,here it is! [not mine]. A super rare ring.. We see the WW1 example above. This pattern with Swas. maybe from 1933 / 1934 and probably only made a few years at most.[?]
