They had a gun show in my town yesterday, and this guy was packing this gun around, he had inherited it from his uncle who brought it back from WW2, my picture is not to good on date on barrel it is dated 11-42. Mike

Sweet looking rifle! Mine (a Smith Corona) kicks like a mule. They are getting hard to find in that nice condition.

Looks like a really nice one Mike and it's probably in shootable condition if the bore and rifling are good. Agree with Mark here these kick worse that my commercially made Winchester 300 Magnun!!

Got to shoot it today, your right kicks like a mule my right shoulder is a bit tender, but, quite enjoyable to shoot, though i messed up and used battle sight shot a foot high a 100 yards, just did some homework so should do better next time. Mike
