Here is a frog I will be putting up in the want adds. I want to make sure it is original as I understand there are problems with some of these. The hanger has a period repair.

I do not see any markings on the leather and the clip is simply stamped with the A.

The reads PRYM ECHT 1

The back shows what appears to be some stiching, then at least one rivet to repair this.

This hanger easily can be a period item with several period repairs (damage might be caused by the remarkable wight of the hewer). Also due to repairs it seems to miss the prominent leather protective flap.
As sometimes seen with RAD hangers clever men made them themselves (in the period) due to small incomes and high costs or as replacement for a damaged one when new ones were not available any more. This TN hanger might also be a homemade item.
But what I can see in the pics, due to itīs proper wearing traces and signs of age I would think it has been worn and is therefore a period item.
An in hand inspection would be necessary.
