Hello, as I'm starting to complete a police officer shako, I would be very glad to have this chat have a look at this shako eagle. Sorry for the bad quality of the image but could ask to two questions: - is this item an original one ? - is this the officer version ? thanks in advance

Hi, the photo is very fuzzy and difficult to assess for lack of detail. But,it is definitely not an officer quality eagle. Although the photo is poor, it seemed to me to be a galvano copy of a correct eagle. You might test the tensile strength of the plate. Attempt to bend it a little with slight pressure? The plate should be made of stamped aluminum and have no give with this attempt.
