Here is a M42 Luft I acquired several years ago. It is a hkp (Sachsische Emaillier und Stanzwewerke). Also stamped into the rear skirt is the batch (or production) run number of 2608. Shell size is 66. What I like about this helmet is that it had the standard issue German mosquito netting installed under the liner. Although it has long since been cut off, the remnants remain under the liner. This was purchased at an estate auction and was said to have been sent home from North Africa. Thought you might find it interesting.

The liner. The lighting makes the netting show as a much darker green than it really is.
