Everyone is familiar for the most part with this trademark-its the Christmas Tree. How many different maker marks are there for this maker? I do not claim nor represent that all the information I put up on maker marks is all there is- its simply what I have or have seen. Here goes 1. Christmas Tree only GG marked (vertical to pommel) 2. Transitional with smaller tree in a double oval and marked m7/35 (verticle to pommel) 3.Christmas tree only with it horizional to pommel 4. Christmas tree only with it verticle to pommel 5.Transitional with regular tree verticle from pommel marked m7/35. Haven't seen an m7/35 only. Have any of you observed something different? Horizional means when knive held in hand the maker mark is upright. Verticle means when knife held in hand maker mark is sideways. do yall want me to keep doing this about maker marks? There seems to be little interest. No problem if its not of help, I will quit listing them-just let me know. Thanks Russ

Personally, I love the info and would like to see pics of the ones you have. I only have about a dozen HJ's, so I can't help with pictures. I was thinking of bringing my camera to the MAX to take pics of maker marks. I collect on condition, so many of these I wouldn't want to buy since they are mostly only good condition, but would like a picture of the maker.
Thanks Russ, John
