I thought I would show off a pair of 1917 DWM artillery rigs. Since I took this picture the rig on the right, except the holster I had to return it. Due to to many issues on the stock iron and pistol. The stock iron was not a rust blue. One serial number was smaller than the others. No Crown over S cartouche on the stock. The LPO8 although all matching including grips and magazine. Had no serial number halos on the barrel. Which means it was a refinish. I have been following the 03 thread. And for myself when you start getting into the big bucks. Every thing has to be right. Granted with artillery rigs it is next to impossible to have all the leather attachments 100% intact.
