Just picked this up yesterday. It is listed in John Angolias book Belt Buckles and Brocades of the Third Reich as annodized finish over rarely encountered stamped steel. It is RZM marked on the lower part of the diamond M4/42. Is this type of buckle hard to come by? SSman
