Hello my fellow bayonetties,

There seems to be a "little" problem with some of us dear sweet collectors...I thought the rules were clear..but they are not to some..
What we gott(mit uns) here is failure to "c o m u n i c a t e"
As we all know (or should know) if there is a auction on Mr E. BAYonet and I bid on it then none of you should overbid me. Coz I want it..simple as that.
So can we agree what has happened today at this one :

Jakob... I think what I'll tell you will make you lough. A friend of mine asked to use my account so he can bid on it, and his other friend (both of them are crazy about police) will not know that he bid !! But at this end it's the scond friend who wins !!! HAHAHA !!! THAT is the lack of communication !!!!

if only this sort to deal worked my collection would be so much closer to completion and so much cheaper!!!!

I'm afraid this kind of gentlemen's arrangement doesn't work. I have been through this kind of arrangements before & there are many times I back off for someone but that someone got sniped in the end.

I tried not to outbid fellow collectors I know, and eventually, after years of collecting I still don't have one piece of RP, DRP, jwh & bym. Yes, they are all around but I back off everytime for people I know, believing that another one will come out eventually. But when the next one comes up, I will be seeing a list of "good friends" around ! I know some already have a few dozens in their collection but they are still bidding, so what can I do ?

If you put yourself in this perspective, you will well understand that they have to bid. There is no right or wrong in this game.

Never understood the having more than one of any marking, you hear of people of with a dozen of a particualr blade, and they still bid on the next one they see, I do one of each type and occasionaly will go into makers adn like keith have a select few people i dont bid against - one because i know hes a millionaire many times over and it isnt worth it - and oterhs as they are friends etc. Others i knwo who vbid on every single one of a particualr type so i ignore them completly even if i do know them, as they often bid but seldom win - and thn moan about the prices which they often have forced up by bidding on duplicates for their collection. It can be very annoying not to bid beacuse of this and see it go to someone else for less than you are prepared to pay, in cases like this i drop the guy (or more often get one dropped on me) and we sort it out that way. BUT ALLS FAIR IN LOVE WAR AND COLLECTING

Well I personaly dont like bayonets at all...its coz Buster makes to bid on them. I never saw a cat before that collected them so...please do it for this little red guy and back off
