hi all, first post on this forum, and a question to start with . how rare are anton wingen jr police dress bayonets?. i ask because i have the chance to buy one tomorrow, the seller is asking 30-50 uk pounds, it has a frog which is worn and looks it`s age. any advice will be gratefully received. sorry i don`t have pics, but a general idea would be appreciated. thanks, steve.

For that price I would imagine it is a firemans / dress bayonet. Depending on condition the price would be about right .

I think the price sounds right depending on condition. In my opinion, if it's a beater, leave it. I believe Degens is right, at that price the bayonet is likely a firemen's bayonet or maybe a standard dress bayonet. Try to post some pics when and if you can and good luck.
