Just picked up a great generals set that came out of the woodwork here in Germany. The set is from Generalmajor Alexander Abt, whose final posting was as head of all signals troops in the Wehmacht. Posted at the OKW in Berlin in the center of all the correspondence between the front and the high command (including Hitler), he must have seen the war from a very unique position. The grouping includes two tunics, two sets of pants (straight and flared) and two heavy overcoats. Doug

WOW
That's awesome. They are amazing. The collar tabs are beautiful. They are hand sewn instead of machine sewn.
Congratulations

This was a score and a half Doug , you were really lucky to get it complete before some Dealer bought it and sold off everything bit by bit. Any chance of finding his ID book or Visor?

Thanks for all of the nice comments. I was very lucky on this set. It is possible that the picker will still come up with more, but I doubt it on this one. Luckily, I have a nice general's visor by Erel that I can display with it. I put the rest of the items in storage. But I will get them out in a few weeks and take some additional pics. Doug
