When I try to access the chat room, I get this message.
"DigiChat requires a Java Compatible web browser to run"
What do I need to do?
I'm running windows XP pro with Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Any help appreciated.
Regards Russell

You may have Java turned off. Many people do to keep out Java based virus attacks. You can check by going to "Tools", "internet Options", and see if Java is checked toward the bottom of the list.

Thanks - Checked under your suggestions Vern but can't find anything that mentions Java.
I'm looking at the check boxes under the Internet Options 'Advanced' tab.

The latest XP with all updates installed does not show the Java option anymore, make sure the INSTALL ON DEMAND & ENABLE THIRD PARTY BROWSER EXTENSIONS (other)is ticked, but make sure you have a firewall enabled to be safe. You will have to restart the PC in order for the changes to be applied.

Russell The chat room doesn't get much use. It seems to get more visits in our winter season.
