Bronze DJ shooting award from Autumn 1934, very early date for one of these, as far as I am aware the DJ onlt came into existance in Autumn 1934, so this must be a very early piece.

Gary, Thank you for the show of medals. Could you post a close up of the Saint Hubertus medal? Is there anything on the reverse side? Sincerely, Hubertus

Ralph, Here's a couple close ups of the Bronze Hubertus medal, it was given out in a competiotion in 1908, awarded by the National hunting association of the time (aDJV).

Very nice indeed Gary. The '36/37 silver cross is very attractive. I assume it's plain on the reverse exept for the silver mark?
Cheers Don

Hi Don
Yes plain on the reverse, stamped 800 mark only. Here's another couple pieces, I picked these up in December last year. The Gold medal is cased and is made by Carl Poellath.I believe it to be an award for a dog competition (dashhound) given by the Reichsbund Deutsche Jgerschaft.Probably best in class or something like that.

This one arrived just today, the best one of these I have seen to date, dated 1929, the engraving on this piece is as good as I have seen anywhere.

Tommy, I have looked for ages to find a pre-war set of stag grip carving set, there are hundreds of post war sets but the pre-war sets are few and far between.
