This is a question for the forum; any recommendations for sites that sale original TR beer steins? Any info is appreciated.

Adler, Those are both auctions. Here is a site where you can buy what you want. www.victory-militaria.com.

gents...I have just been contacted by a member whose opinion I value...and he pointed out to me the follwing facts...and I feel that he is right and I would not be a good SteinMeister if I did not point out my shortcomings...
the question I was asked if I knew any TR dealers, and I refferred to two well known auction houses here in the states...I am not in anyway beholden or conected to them...so I need to enlighten the collecting community that :
1. Just because they are in those cataloges does not make them genuine... 2. Losts of their items are overpriced in there cataloge...remember now...if you dont overbid you are save. 3.and lastly, there are other and perhaps better places to shop...those two just came to mind...for example...google...German Military Stein...
I hope this clarifies what I said...Roland. o
