Could somebody tell me what this pin is for? I am thinking it is luftschutz but have no idea what it is for?

Luftwaffe, Abzeichen f�r Zivilangestellte. (Civilian employee). I read the 25 year was gilt.?

Joe. This may have had gilt on it at one time but looks to be all zinc. I aquired this pin on the armband you can see in the picture from a guy who got it from a vet. He said the vet told him the pin has been on it since he brought it back from the war! I know how stories go so another storie that I may never know if true or not!
