I have lost the oem number (25 digits) on my XP Home Edition ...I want to overwrite the program.. Is there any way I can retrieve this number ????

Aaron, Thanks for the fast reply.... One more ????? I have an XP upgrade disk but the 25 digit number is lost...Is there anyway to get it from the disc???? Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Lou,
I don't think you can obtain it from the disc. The pin number and disk are usually issued separately for security reasons.

Unfortunately no, there isn't a way to get it from the disk that I know of. Sorry!
