Excellent pics Vic & thanks for showing them all. That museum sure looks like it`s one for the list if anyone is planning a trip. here is a link if anyone would like some info Panzer MuseumI would be especially interested to see any U boot pics you took as well. Are you able to get aboard? I doubt it somehow but just had to ask

Vaughan: I have a complete series of pic inside the U 995 as well as the Navy Memorial at Laboe including the underground section.
I will post under a separate heading, it will be a few days.

It is in Munster and located right next to the Panzer training school. A good web site has been posted above. A great museum.

Great pics. I have always wanted to go there and the Saumer museum in France. I am not sure but I think Saumer has the only operational King Tiger left in the world.

Just got back from Normandy France, I slipped over to Vimoutiers to take a few shots of their Tiger. I have some High resolution shots of the entire Tiger, if you want a copy send me your email address. I shot a lot of detail pics but most of them are already seen above. Neat area of France and it is nice that the Tiger is still in the battle area, but it needs to be under roof badly.

Very nice photos. I have been to that museum a few times myself and I allways enjoy it. Touching zimmerit is as exciting every time. I can also recomend anyone driving thru Belgium a stop in La Gleize to check out the King Tiger and the small museum there. They have some pretty neat dioramas.

To those planning to visit the museum, make sure you go to Munster and not Mnster, in Westphalia. It happens all the time.
