Guys...I have to confess...being from N�rnberg...I have never been to THE Oktoberfest...I been to several local Octoberfests...even here in the States...they had a real nice one in Onan****, Va. and it was even more enjoyable because I entered some of my beersteins into the contest...the judge took one look and told me that my steins were just "for show" because he did not want to discourage the local people from entering their stein...it was all in good fun...and if they have a Octoberfest in October of course I will be there again...it aint M�nchen...but the beer is cold...your SteinMeister...Roland.

I tend to like the smaller festivals. My special favorite was the Bad Durkheim Wine and Sausage Fest. Great memories and not overwhelming as I recall.....The waitresses were just as attractive as Babsi.
