BB, I'd like it better if the inside was really honed/polished more but it could just be a late piece. Every else on a whole looks really good! Congratulations..
Pretty sure a member here has a ring with the same 'tree GB' mark . Maybe he's found some info and will post when he sees the topic... , G.

I think your ring is ok , a solid beautiful one, BadBob. The chance to get a skull ring with gemstones is rare. The design aside here shows decorative apart elements, often these elements are more combined with eachother ; I like this variation . Good pictures. My skullring has the initials G B with a tree stamp. Yours, BB, looks simular, but with other initials? I havent found any info about it unfortunatelly. Here the ring backside with the stamp . The stamp is incuse, like yours . Note that when you take a longer look at a close-up photo of the stamp , it gives a reverse image; from the present negative incuse to a positive raised image. You started this BB so....What happened with the orange?? Cheers, Benten

Seriously, thanks for your responses. I needed some reassurance with this one as there were a few things to be suspicious about. I'm sure someone will tell me if these start popping up left and right!.......The seller tells me it's from the estate of a Calgary Highlander WW2 veteran. As you can see, the condition is phenomenal and it's a very large size.

Oh yeah,...the orange, I couldn't afford. I am having some luck with the skull rings. There's one more on the way, and I have a line on another locally.

Very nice!!,,Hey BB, you need the trailer with the Batboat in tow!!
I really hope one day one of us comes up with the maker or distributor mark for that 'GB tree'.
With some of the NYC streets close by we sometimes need something a little heavy duty though..

Had an email asking how good is the detail on the original Skull rings?... Well easiest / quickest is to show BadBobs skull ring.. * Detail in all the right places and in between!
BB still has his rings and still enjoys them immensely..! I have the same ring but not as nice condition...

' J.', there is a lot of kidding on this old thread.. But its the ring you have..
See there is details on the ring,, like yours. Pebbling in-between the cross bones. All the detail is deep, clear. and, you have the same hallmark.. Yours is a little more worn but congrats its a good one..
